Africa's path to the stars starts here.

We build African launch capability, satellites, and sovereign data infrastructure — from the finest launch geography on Earth — so that Africa owns its place in space, from the ground to orbit.

The Name

Harambee
/ hah·rahm·BEH / — Swahili

"Let us all pull together." The covenant that built a nation — its schools, its hospitals, its independence — now pointed at the sky. Engineers, governments, universities, investors, and the diaspora, pulling toward one horizon. No African space company can succeed alone. None will need to.

Mission

Own the infrastructure of Africa's space age.

Launch, satellites, and data — designed, built, and operated in Africa. We are building the sovereign infrastructure of the space age: made on the continent, serving the continent and the world.

01 — Launch

Rockets & Launch Infrastructure

Launch capability developed on African soil, at the equator — where physics gives every kilogram to orbit its greatest natural advantage on Earth.

02 — Orbit

Satellites

Earth observation and communications built for African terrain, climate, agriculture, and security — sovereign eyes and sovereign signals.

03 — Data

Sovereign Data Infrastructure

Ground stations and data centers on the equator, powered by Kenyan geothermal energy — African data, received, computed, and governed in Africa. Then, beyond it: compute in orbit.

Heritage

This coast has reached orbit before.

Between 1964 and 1988, rockets rose from platforms in the waters off Malindi, Kenya — one of the first places on Earth to prove that equatorial launch works. In 1970, a satellite launched from these waters — on Kenya's independence day — went on to discover the first strong evidence of black holes.

The equator — maximum rotational boost, open ocean east, launches year-round

This coast opened the equatorial road to orbit.
Now we build it — with our own hands.

Vision

Make Africa a principal of the space age.

Humanity's future is being built in orbit, on the Moon, and beyond — and the continent where humanity began will help build it. Sovereign launch. Sovereign satellites. Sovereign data. Reaching orbit is the first step; extending humanity's home beyond Earth is the destination.

From the cradle of humankind — to the stars, and beyond.

Partnerships

Pull together with us.

We are building with governments, investors, engineers, universities, and institutions — across Africa and beyond. If you want to help build Africa's launch, satellite, and data infrastructure, we want to hear from you.
